Sleeping, snoring, snoozing, dozing, and dreaming. Nipper loves living a dog’s life. Most of all, he loves his owner and best friend, Richard.
Life is perfect, except for one thing: Richard must go to work every day and Nipper misses him something terrible. Then one day, Richard forgets his lunch box. Luckily, loyal Nipper knows what must be done.
Lots of stills make this story a whole lot of fun, as we follow Nipper every step of the way. The bright and lively images take us through vast country and crowded city. Along the way, Nipper braves benign bovines, a passenger bus, and a busy outdoor market, all the while keeping himself (and Richard’s lunch box) away from unwanted attention. Luckily, he gets some help along the way.
With its comforting ending, Nipper and the Lunchbox is sure to be a preschool favorite, especially after learning that Richard owns a toyshop!
