Willow Tree Books

Molly and Tom are spending the Christmas holidays with their grandmother in Willow Tree Woods. It’s a place as magical as Grandma’s hot chocolate. A place where you might discover a lost fox cub in the shed or a small fairy’s home in the woods.

After feeding and sheltering the cub, Molly and Tom release him back into the woods. A few days later, while exploring, they come across their fox friend. He proudly shows them his home, a small hollow in a tree. After admiring it, Tom circles the tree and finds a fairy house on the other side.

When he wishes they could fit inside the tiny house, Sparkle, the homeowner, shrinks them down to her size. But when the children come face-to-face with a nasty weasel, they find that being small can be downright dangerous. The fox cub comes to their rescue and Molly and Tom learn that a friend in need is a friend indeed.

Little Fox and The Fairy, it is just the type of chapter book new readers should start with-propelling them into the wonderful journey of a lifetime of reading.
